Residential Services

Residential Group Homes

The Group Homes are treatment sites staffed 24 hours a day with trained individuals that are caring, empathetic, and supportive to the consumer’s needs. There are 8 consumers in each home actively pursuing individualized goals written by a QMRP (Qualified Mental Retardation Professional). These goals are implemented to enable the consumer to become as independent in daily living skills as possible. The excellent training provided to the consumers has enabled many consumers to transition into a less restrictive environment. Activities are designed to provide stimulation, education, and simple enjoyment such as Special Olympics, vacations, picnics, movies, etc. The homes create a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere for consumers.

Supported Living

Achieva Resources has eleven (11) 24/7 Supported Living sites. These sites are located in Wayne, Union, and Fayette counties. The consumers live and share a home in residential communities. The homes consist of 2, 3, or 4 consumers living together and sharing expenses. Trained individuals work with the consumers in their own homes enabling them to become as independent in daily living skills as possible. The consumers take pride in caring for their own home. Achieva has 22 non 24 hr sites located in Wayne, Franklin, Union, and Fayette counties. Trained individuals assist the consumers in their own homes, or in homes where they live with a relative. The consumers are assisted with grocery shopping, budgeting, decision making, transportation, and health care oversight. Consumers participate in community activities and events. Achieva Resources owns three supported living homes in the community. These can be viewed on this residential web site.

Respite Care

Achieva Resources provides service to families who need relief throughout the week or month. Respite service allows parents or relatives to go grocery shopping, out to dinner, attend a movie, or other activities they would enjoy. Achieva Resources can assist the consumer in community activities or provide assistance at the consumer’s family home. This service allows family members an opportunity to have freedom from providing all the care for their loved one.
